The pitch

Most Slovak SMBs in 2026 still have a website that looks like 2014, runs on a page-builder that crawls on mobile, and was last touched two years ago. The bar to beat is genuinely low — but the reason it persists is that "real" agencies cost thousands of euros and templated solutions feel cheap. Receptiv splits the difference: hand-built per business, priced flat, delivered fast enough to feel immediate.

How an engagement runs

1. Cold contact — short, specific email. The first thing the prospect sees is a working demo of a site I built for their business, already deployed at theirslug.receptiv.dev. No mockups, no pitch deck — just a real site to click around.
2. If they're in — quick call or chat to confirm copy, services, hours, booking links, photos. I don't bill for revisions during this window; it's the work.
3. Final build on their domain. Year-1 hosting and domain are included in the flat fee.
4. Handoff — from year 2 they own the domain and hosting account directly with a Slovak provider (websupport.sk or webglobe.sk). I take no ongoing commission, no lock-in.

Pricing

€399 one-time, na faktúru, year-1 domain + hosting included. From year 2 the customer pays the hosting provider directly (~€30–60/year depending on package). Everything is invoiced from a registered Slovak entity; legitimate business expense for the customer.

Stack

• Build: Astro for static-first output, Tailwind for the design system, custom per-site colour + type pairing — no two demos look alike.
• Performance: static HTML, lazy-loaded images, no JS framework bloat. Lighthouse 95+ on mobile by default.
• Hosting: demos live on a single VPS behind nginx with one shared Let's Encrypt cert (currently 92 SANs of the 100 LE cap). Production sites move to the customer's chosen Slovak host on handoff.
• Outreach pipeline: custom Python tooling for prospect research, templated cold emails with per-prospect demo URL, open-tracking pixel, and a small admin panel for managing the pipeline. Not part of the customer offering — that's the engine that finds the customers.
